On October 18, the delegation led by rector of Sumgayit State University (SSU) Rufat Azizov had a business visit to Lankaran State University (LSU). The representatives of SSU, received by the rector of LSU, professor Natig Ibrahimov, met for the purpose of expanding the cooperation between the two higher educational institutions.During the meeting, ideas were exchanged regarding the implementation of joint scientific research, improvement of teaching processes and increasing the representation of universities on international platforms.In the continuation of the visit, SSU vice-rector for international relations, Konul Abasli, made a presentation for LSU professor-teachers and students regarding the participation of universities in international rating systems, especially QS rating.Later, the delegation visited the university"s auditoriums, library, student dormitories and other departments and got to know the student and teaching environment.Rector Rufat Azizov emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two universities, emphasizing that the modern infrastructure created at LSU in recent years is the result of great hard work. He also thanked professor Natig Ibrahimov for his hospitality.Within the framework of the visit, Rufat Azizov spoke at the international scientific-practical conference on "Integration processes within the Turkish states: Modern challenges and goals".
