On October 8, an educational meeting was held at Sumgait State University for students studying on a paid basis by the Education Student Loan Fund (ESLF).
At the meeting, the director of the Teaching Methodological Center, associate professor Osman Hajiyev, spoke about the reforms carried out to ensure the accessibility of education in our country in recent years and the advantages of the project implemented by the Education Student Loan Fund in this direction. Osman Hajiyev also pointed out that the Education Student Loan Fund has been closely cooperating with Sumgait State University since its inception. In addition to the interest of young people in education, the number of people benefiting from education student loans is also increasing year by year due to awareness measures. From the 2021-2022 academic year, 1256 students have benefited from the opportunity created by the fund. In the 2024-2025 academic year, 217 of our students applied for this opportunity, and 163 of them received a positive response. At the end of his speech, he advised the students to take maximum and efficient advantage of the opportunities created.
 Then, Aynur Bagirova, a citizen appeal specialist of the Education Student Loan Fund, made a presentation about the fund"s activities, the opportunities created for students, the registration process, the types of student loans and the rules for issuing them. At the end of the meeting, students" questions were answered and various suggestions were made.
