On September 22, at the National Gymnastics Arena, the closing ceremony of the VII Robot Olympiad among teenagers and young people and the awarding ceremony of the winners was held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the World Robot Olympiad Association and the Azerbaijan Robotics and Engineering Academy (AREA).
Rauf Jabbarov, the head referee of the Olympiad speaking at the event, spoke about the importance of the Robot Olympiad and expressed his gratitude to the organizers who contributed to the creation of the project.
At the ceremony, the judges of the Olympiad and the volunteers participating in the organization of the competition were awarded by the head of the World Robot Olympiad in Azerbaijan, Kanan Karimov.
Adviser to the Minister of Youth and Sports Ramin Jabbarov and project manager Kanan Karimov presented diplomas and medals to the members of the teams that won the Olympiad in various nominations.
It should be noted that Amin Najafli, a third-year student of the Faculty of Engineering of Sumgait State University, won the gold medal in the 7th Republic Robot Olympiad in the "Robomission Senior" category. he
During the summer months, he worked for participation in the Olympiad under the guidance of professor Javanshir Mammadov, the head of the Innovation and Creativity Center of Sumgait State University.
