An agreement regarding the "studentplus" card was signed between Sumgayit State University and the education development fund

On September 6, within the framework of the "Student Plus" project, a cooperation agreement was signed between Sumgayit State University (SSU) and the Education Development Fund (EDF).
Representatives of SSU and EDF participated in the signing ceremony.
Rector of the university, associate professor Rufat Azizov made a speech and drew attention to the signing of the next contract with the Education Development Fund. He said that cooperation between SSU and EDF, such as encouraging the scientific-pedagogical staff and students to take the IELTS exam, and establishing the Sustainable Development Center, was successfully continued, and he noted that the "Student Plus" project presented by the Education Development Fund will provide a wide range of privileges for students.
Elnur Nasibov, the Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund, delivered a speech highlighting the projects undertaken by the Fund. He mentioned that a memorandum was recently signed between the Education Development Fund, Kapital Bank, and the international payment technology company "Visa" for the introduction of new "Student Plus" cards. E.Nasibov discussed the initiatives that will be implemented to offer students benefits and discounts through these cards, as well as support for enhancing their social lives.
The chairman of EDF also noted that the Foundation and its partners have reached an agreement with more than 200 companies to provide special discounts to students in shopping centers and various catering facilities that students use the most. In addition, according to the preliminary agreement reached with the Ministry of Culture, special discounts for students in museums, galleries and exhibition halls are provided. Within the framework of the project, 150,000 student cards are initially planned to be put into use. Students will be able to perform all banking transactions conveniently through this card.
It was mentioned that this project intended for students is planned to be applied to education workers in the future.
