Khayala Seyfullayeva, associate professor of the Faculty of Mathematics of Sumgait State University, made a presentation at the 9th scientific International Conference (COIA-2024) on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications at Jerrahpasha University, Istanbul, Turkey, on August 27-29, 2024.
The traditionally organized and 3-day event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Istanbul Jerrahpasha University, Agrı Ibrahim Chechen University and the Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics at Baku State University.
Turkish deputy Shamil Ayrim, Istanbul Jerrahpasha University vice-rector professor Erol Ince, head of "Katoder" company Sabiha Gul Dogan and co-chairs of the conference's organizing committee - academician Fikret Aliyev and Ahmet Ojak Akdemir spoke at the opening of the conference.
More than 200 mathematical scientists and experts from more than 30 countries of the world, including 7 invited speakers working in the field of optimality and management, took part in the event. Also, a delegation of more than 20 people led by academician Fikret Aliyev, director of the Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics at Baku State University, represented our country at a high level.
At the event, scientists and specialists from different countries of the world held discussions on management theory, optimization, intelligent systems, fuzzy management, calculation methods, network and telecommunications, mathematical modeling and simulation, applications in industry and economy, identification and other topics.
Note that COIA-2024 is technically supported by IEEE Turkey Section for the first time. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Also, all papers accepted and presented at the conference will be submitted for indexing in the Web of Science: Conference Proceedings Citation Index database.
