On August 2, Sumgayit State University and Lankaran-Astara Regional Education Department jointly organized information sessions for applicants in Masalli and Lankaran regions. Associate professor Rashad Salimov, dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of SSU, Ali Rzayev, senior teacher of the Azerbaijani language and its teaching methodology department, Rahim Rahimov, deputy director of the regional education department, school principals, teachers, applicants and parents took part in the event.
Sessions were opened with a promotional video of SSU.
Later, the speakers gave extensive information about the university's specialties, educational programs, tuition fees, concessions, scholarship programs, material and technical base. Also, the high results achieved by SSU in the international QS ranking were highlighted.
Within the framework of the event, promotional brochures and magazines of SSU were presented to the participants. At the end of the event, the questions asked by the participants were answered in detail.
Information sessions will continue in the following weeks in various regions.
