From today, information sessions for applicants of Sumgait State University have been started in different regions of our republic. On July 25, at the first meetings held in Salyan and Bilasuvar regions within the framework of joint organization with the Shirvan-Salyan Regional Education Department, associate professor Elmar Khalilov, vice-rector on Social affairs and public relations of SSU, chairman of the Trade Union Committee associate professor Nemat Ibayev, head of the department of Azerbaijani language and its teaching methodology senior lecturer Ali Rzayev, representatives of the education department, school principals, teachers, applicants and parents participated.
Elmar Khalilov made a speech and greeted everyone on behalf of the rector of the university, associate professor Rufat Azizov. He expressed his gratitude to the management of the education department for the support shown in the organization of the event.
Then the promotional video of the university was shown.
Later, the speakers gave detailed information to the event participants about the wide selection of majors offered by SSU, the rich social student life, our advantages and the opportunities created for students.
