The Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union (AEWFTU) participated in the "International Youth Forum" (TEMP 2024) held in Minsk, Belarus within the framework of bilateral cooperation relations with the Belarus Education Workers Trade Unions.
Elmin Novruzlu, chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee of Sumgait State University, participated in the delegation representing Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the forum, Azerbaijani representatives gave detailed information to the forum participants about our country"s national cuisine, wealth, economic issues and the activities of Trade Unions.
Within the framework of the visit, the issues of youth policy implementation, social partnership and the preparation of collective agreements were discussed, in addition, historical monuments and museums of Belarus and the production of ‘Geely’ cars at the ‘Belgee’ machine plant were introduced.
It should be noted that the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers establishes bilateral relations with relevant trade union organizations of some countries for the purpose of exchanging experience and information within the framework of International Cooperation, and is also a full member of a number of international trade unions. In 1992, the Republican Committee of AEWFTU became a member of the International Union of Science and Education Workers Trade Unions located in Moscow, Russia. The Republican Committee effectively participates in international seminars, forums, conferences, and also supports actions organized at the international level.
