Our students visited the Veterinary Scientific Research Institute
On May 7, students of the 343rd and 348th groups of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of SSU visited the Veterinary Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Veterinary Clinic operating under the leadership of Aysel Aghayeva, the senior teacher of the Department of Biology and its Teaching Methodology.
BETI's director Siyala Rustamova and deputy director Sahman Bayramov informed the students about the institute's history, conducted research, goals and perspectives.
Then the students were informed about the research work conducted in the parasitology, bird diseases, virology and immunology, fish and bee diseases departments of the institute, disease agents of domestic and agricultural animals, effective treatment methods against them, new laboratory equipment and their work principles. Also, the students got acquainted with the inpatient, therapy, toxicology, dermatology, ophthalmology, surgery, USM, X-ray, biochemistry laboratory departments designed for animals in the Veterinary clinic operating under BETI.
