On April 30, at Sumgait State University, with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Organizations Association (ACSA) presented the project "Preparation of scientific-methodical teaching (printed and electronic) materials for the specialty of information security".

The head of the project mentioned in the presentation Tabriz Jafarov, project trainer, head of "YER.AZ" company Rashad Aliyev, experts involved in relevant research activities within the project - Humay Huseynova and Vugar Gadimov, as well as ACSA's responsible employees for coordination of cyber clubs Rabiyya Khuduyeva, a specialist of ACSA Kamran Kazimli and the faculty-student staff of the university's Engineering faculty participated.

First, the project leader, Tabriz Jafarov, greeted the participants and gave a detailed speech about the importance of information security policy and the project "Preparation of scientific-methodical teaching (printed and electronic) materials for the specialty of information security". Emphasizing that cyber security has already become one of the most important nuances for all enterprises, Tabriz Jafarov spoke about the measures implemented by the Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan in the direction of strengthening the country's scientific-technical and personnel potential in the field of cyber security, as well as about the close cooperation with higher education institutions. He noted that on the basis of the mentioned project, electronic and printed materials were prepared for three subjects ("Information security and legal aspects of cyber security", "Web security" and "Network security") in this field.

Within the framework of the project, Humay Huseynova, a specialist involved in the relevant research activity, gave speeches  on the topics of "Understanding personal information", Vugar Gadimov on "Cybercrimes and the fight against them", and Rashad  Aliyev, the head of "YER.AZ" company on the topics of "Web security" and "Network security".

At the end of the event, a broad exchange of views on the topic was held and the participants' questions were answered.
