THE PHILOLOGISTS IN THE INTERNSHIP HELD AN EVENT DEDICATED TO "INTERNATIONAL EARTH DAY"
On April 22, Yagut Pirguliyeva, a lecturer of the department of Foreign languages of the faculty of Philology of Sumgait State University, organized an event dedicated to the "International Earth Day" together with the students of the 936A group assigned to that school and the 7th grade of the school, in the secondary school No. 15, where she is the internship supervisor.
In the event held with the participation of associate professor Gunel Pashayeva, dean of the faculty of Philology, and professor Nigar Iskenderova, head of the department of Foreign languages, a number of environmental issues were touched upon, and skits, songs and flash mobs were organized on topics such as taking care of nature, what we can do to protect the environment in the future.
At the event, a conversation about the relationship between ecology and the humanities was carried out , information was given about the new fields of science that emerged as a result of the manifestation of ecology in various spheres of science, speeches were made on scientific and educational topics such as ecolinguistics, ecocriticism and ecopsychology.
