AN INTERFACULTY BASKETBALL COMPETITION DEDICATED TO THE "YEAR OF SOLIDARITY FOR THE GREEN WORLD" HAS BEEN STARTED AT SSU
On April 20, an interfaculty basketball competition dedicated to the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" was launched at Sumgait State University under the organization of the Student Trade Union Committee and Sports Club.
SSU vice-rector for Social affairs and public relations assoc. prof. Elmar Khalilov opened the competition and greeted the participants, drawing attention to the fact that a number of events were organized at the university in accordance with the approved Event Plan of SSU within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World". Holding sports competitions has a great influence on the formation of a healthy lifestyle.
Then the competiton started.
Based on the results of the competition, the faculty of Engineering, Sumgait State Technical College under SSU, faculty of Economics and management, faculty of Natural Sciences qualified for the semi-finals to be held on April 27.
