The training on "Main factors in choosing a profession" was held under the moderatorship of Dr. Suleyman Barbaros Yalchin, associate professor of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Najmeddin Erbakan University.
Nasiba Amirbeyova, head of SSU's Career and Alumni Center, opened the event with an introduction and introduced associate professor Barbaros Yalchin to the training participants.
Clarifying that the participants of the training are not students, but teachers, the head of the Center justified his opinion as follows: ‘we wanted our teachers, who play one of the main roles in career guidance, to share the experience of our esteemed guest in this direction’.
Nasiba Amirbeyova noted that it is not excluded that the subjects will be included in the curriculum in the future in order to build a career. Dr. Barbaros Yalchin has been dealing with career problems for a long time, emphasized that career building as a science has become the main goal for the world's leading universities in the 21st century.
Noting that he was impressed by the talent of people during his stay in Azerbaijan, he wished success to the only higher education institution of Sumgait, which has great industrial potential.
The training, rich in polemical situations raised by the participants on the mentioned topics, ended with interesting moments.
