In connection with the 75th anniversary of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, which is one of the leading higher educational institutions of Bashkirstan, the delegation of Sumgait State University and foreign guests visited the "auditorium of the Republic of Azerbaijan" opened on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev at USPTU and met with students.

The guests were informed about the activities of the auditorium. It was reported that the state symbols of Azerbaijan, the legacy of Heydar Aliyev, the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities, Azad Mirzajanzade's scientific school, our country's natural resources, oil, climate and geography, mineral resources, science and industry, culture and art, carpet weaving, historical monuments - Gobustan , the capital of Baku, 12 plaques were created under the title of outstanding personalities. This auditorium was created based on the financial support of Ayyub Babirov, an Azerbaijani graduate of that university, an honored builder of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a businessman, and a project of Sumgayit State University.

Evaluating the opening of this auditorium as a significant event in the "Year of Heydar Aliyev", rector of SSU Rufat Azizov greeted the participants and, talking about the events held within the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" and the essence of this year, emphasized the Great Leader's unparalleled services to the people.

Today, President Ilham Aliyev stated that the policy of education and youth care, which was founded by Heydar Aliyev, has been successfully continued in our country.

In his speech, the rector also talked about the important role of our scientists - academician Azad Mirzajanzadeh in the development of Azerbaijan and Bashkir science, and emphasized the importance of the scientific school created by him in solving theoretical and practical problems in the field of mechanics, applied mathematics, oil and gas.
