AN EVENT CALLED "SHUSHA IS THE HOMELAND OF NIGHTINGALE" WAS HELD AT SSU
On December 1, an event called "Shusha is the home of nightingale" was held at Sumgayit State University, organized by the faculty of History and geography, dedicated to the declaration of the city of Shusha as the "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World" for 2023.
First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the dear memory of the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Dean of the faculty, Honored teacher professor Adil Bakhshaliyev made a speech and greeted the participants, saying that 2023 is full of important historical events for Azerbaijan and the Turkic world. He noted that it is a matter of pride for Shusha to be declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world and for us to come together in Shusha.
Professor Adil Bakhshaliyev also noted that Turkey-Azerbaijani friendship and brotherhood deepens over time. With the signing of the Shusha Declaration, relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have risen to the level of strategic alliance. Our next goal is to further develop our relations in the Turkish world.
Then a video dedicated to Shusha, the "cultural capital of the Turkish world", was shown.
