On November 7, Rector of Sumgayit State University Rufat Azizov met with university employees who are members of the families of martyrs. First, the dear memory of the heroes who rose to the height of martyrdom in all the wars fought for the territorial integrity of our lands was commemorated. At the meeting held on the eve of the Victory Day, the rector noted that the glorious victory won by the mighty Azerbaijani Army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev constituted the proudest pages of the history of Azerbaijan, and expressed his gratitude to all the martyrs who lost their lives and blood for the restoration of the territorial integrity of our country, and wished the veterans recovery.

During the meeting, the rector was interested in the financial and moral problems of the families of the martyrs.

Family members of the martyrs expressed their gratitude to the head of state for the high attention and care shown and thanked the university administration for the organized meeting.
