On May 25, Fatima Bayramova, director of secondary school No. 14 named after Adil Ibrahimli sent a letter of thanks to Sumgayit State University, and commendations were presented to several students intern. It was mentioned that the students of the faculty of Mathematics who were in pedagogical practice showed an  activity in teaching and public affairs of the school during their pedagogical experience and were selected for their exemplary behavior.

It should be noted that in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, the 5 graduating groups of the 2 majors of the faculty of Mathematics had a pedagogical experience from February 16, 2023 to May 24, 2023. Alongside the ability to use modern learning technologies during the internship period, the students demonstrated their skills to set up lessons in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum, and gained the sympathy of both the management of the institution and the contingent they were intern.

 Students who were in pedagogical practice  organized a number of events in educational institutions with the organization of the faculty. These events include "Khojaly-blood memory" dedicated to the Khojaly genocide, "Spring is coming to our lands" organized on the occasion of Nowruz holiday. Our   students initiated various projects in the schools where they practiced in the context of the numerous events held at our university on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader, the founder and architect of the modern state of Azerbaijan. Among those events, we may mention "I am proud to be an Azerbaijani", "Who is a person?", "Can we consider ourselves a personality?", "Who are the historical figures you know?".

The dean of the faculty of Mathematics, associate professor Khalida Hasanova, deputy dean associate professor Mahammadali Mammadov, head of the department of Mathematics and its teaching methodology, associate professor Maftun Heydarova and other collegues of the department took part in the events.

During the pedagogical experience, the students were given special thanks by the heads of the institutions for their active participation in the social life of those institutions, in addition to teaching and acquiring pedagogical skills. Thus, the principal of Sumgayit city secondary school No. 14, Fatima Bayramova gave the Honor certificate to the students of Mathematics faculty No. 416 group, Abdullazade Ilaha Mehman, Bayramova Ragsane Galamshah gizi, and Javadova Aliya Sahin gizi for showing activity in the school"s educational and social life. The pedagogical experience of the students of the faculty of Mathematics was successfully completed.
