In the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, 11 graduating groups of 7 majors of the faculty of Philology went pedagogical experience from February 16 to May 24, 2023. In accordance with the profile of each specialty, during the internship organized in various educational institutions  students worked according to the program with the organization of group leaders and the participation of their teachers. During the internship period, the students demonstrated their ability to use modern learning technologies as well as their skills to build lessons in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum.

At the same time, the students who took part in the experience organized events  with the faculty  where they were assigned, and participated in the meetings organized by the institutions. Most of the events were organized in accordance with the "Event Plan of Sumgayit State University regarding the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in the Republic of Azerbaijan". So, in connection with the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, a successful politician and a powerful statesman, a series of events were organized in the institutions where the students were practicing in order to further improve the study of the Great Leader's rich political heritage, honorable life and activities by the young generation. Among those events, we can mention the literary-artistic event called "Our language that has existed for 100 years" and the scientific-practical seminar called "Education of Azerbaijan in Heydar Aliyev's policy".

During the pedagogical experience, the heads of the enterprises said special thanks to the students for their active participation in the social life of the enterprises. So, on behalf of the management of the kindergartens No. 39 and 40, a letter of thanks was sent to the name of Sumgayit State University, and certificates of appreciation were presented to several students.li".
