THE 8TH STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF THE STUDENT SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY WAS HELD AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOLOGY OF SSU
On May 12, the 8th student scientific conference of the Student Scientific Society was held at the faculty of Philology of Sumgayit State University.
The conference started with the work of the plenary session. The dean of the faculty, associate professor Sevinj Hamzayeva, declared the conference open. She spoke about the important role of this conference in her speech, which has become a tradition for years, in the lives of students, and wished success to the work of the conference.
Speaking about the general working principle of the SSU SSS, associate professor Lala Bunyatova, about the work done at the university, noted that although there was a certain weakening in the activity of the SSS during the pandemic, the work of the current conference is an official confirmation that this weakening left in the past.
Afat Rafiyeva, head of the faculty of Philology of SSS, senior lecturer of the department of literature of Azerbaijan and foreign countries, gave information about the general state of the work done at the faculty and noted that they will further expand their activities in the future.
Then the plenary session continued with the report of 4 students. Interesting discussions were held around the reports.
After the plenary session ended, the conference continued its work in 4 sections.
A total of 39 students' reports were listened to.
The conference ended with the reports of the department heads.
