On May 11, the XXIII Republican scientific conference of masterʾs students dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, started its work in the online format at Sumgayit State University.

Master"s students, heads of structures and teaching staff of scientific and educational institutions of our republic took part in the conference.

The conference was opened by professor Ramazan Mammadov, SSU vice-rector for Science and innovations, conveyed the greetings of rector professor Elkhan Huseynov to the participants. The  series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev continues in our university, as in other parts of our country, he said that the conference is dedicated to the significant day - the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and expressed the great leader"s services to the Azerbaijani people.

Professor Ramazan Mammadov noted that with the consent of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Republican Scientific Conference of master"s students has been held at Sumgayit State University for 23years. The increase in the number of participants in the conference shows how important the conference is. About 900 report materials from 25 scientific and educational institutions of our Republic were included in the conference held this year. After the initial examination of the presentation materials, 760 theses were included in the agenda of the conference and the conference materials were prepared for printing.

The vice-rector thanked the employees who supported to the organization of the conference and the academic supervisors of the graduate students, wished success to the masterʾs students who will deliver the report and to the work of the conference.

At the plenary session, the floor was given to masterʾs students representing different universities.

The students made a speech about different topics: masterʾs student of SSU Leyla Meybullayeva "Lexical-semantic features of anthroponyms in I.Chopin"s book "Cameral description of Yerevan Province", Gulana Shukurlu,  masterʾs student of Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ETN "Synthesis of alkylcyclopentadienylcarbonyl dimer complexes of iron and molybdenum", masterʾs student of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University  Nurjan Talibli, on "Smart home intelligent management systems", Ali Ismayilov, a  masterʾs  student of Baku Slavic University, "Heroic epics in the emigration literature of Azerbaijan", Turkan Seifullayeva, a masterʾs student of Sumgayit State University  "Distinctive features of long-term and short-term assets". 

The participants positively assessed the conference, which is traditionally held every year at SSU. They talked about Heydar Aliyev"s youth policy, the services of the Great Leader in raising a young generation with a fighting spirit for the protection of independence and statehood based on the national and moral values of our people. They emphasized that the level of scientific-research works in our country has increased, and expressed their deep gratitude to the rector of SSU professor Elkhan Huseynov on behalf of the university administrations they represent for organizing the conference at a high level.

Associate professor Sabir Khalilov, head of Doctorate and master"s department of Sumgait State University, made a speech and pointed out that 251 articles from Sumgait State University, 214 from Baku Slavic University, 92 from Nakhchivan State University, 60 from Odlar Yurdu University, 36 from Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, 26 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University attended the conference and various articles from other scientific and educational institutions were received.

It should be noted that the conference will continue its work in sections for two days in an online format.
