The exam session of the fall semester of the 2022/2023 academic year continues at Sumgayit State University and Sumgayit State Technical College operating under it. Natig Talybov - vice-rector for Teaching organization and training technologies, professor, vice-rector for Science and innovations Ramazan Mammadov, vice rector for Social affairs and public relations associate professor Elmar Khalilov, vice -rector for International relations associate professor Gafar Atayev, vice- rector for Economic affairs Naib Hajiyev, director of the Teaching Methodological Center Faig Shirinov and faculty deans regularly monitor the process of the exam.

During the pre-examination monitoring held on January 16, vice-rector for Teaching organization and training technologies Natig Talibov watched the process of the exams and wished the students success. He said that exams are usually conducted in written form. After the exam is over, the answer sheets are coded and checked by the teachers at the exam checking headquarters and the results are announced. When students who received a positive mark in the written exam and to apply increasing their mark, they have to give an oral exam with the participation of members of the appeal commission and faculty deans. If the answer is satisfactory, the mark is increased, otherwise the previous mark  is kept. During the course of the session, in order to investigate and resolve any dissatisfaction that may arise from the results of the exams, a "Hotline" has been  created at the Headquarters and the university under it, application and suggestion boxes have been hung in the educational buildings of the university, and the necessary conditions have been created in the university for the transparent and objective conduct of the exams.

The vice-rector also drew attention to the fact that at SSU and at the same time in Sumgait State Technical College under Sumgait State University, the examination process is   observed   by rector  professor Elkhan Huseynov and responsible persons, talking to students and learning their opinions about the process.
