On January 5, rector of Sumgayit State University professor Elkhan Huseynov observed the examination process held in the faculties and was interested in the attitude of the students to the course of the examinations.

The rector professor Elkhan Huseynov listened to the opinions of the students and the questions they were interested in regarding the process of the examination. Stating that wide opportunities have been created for students" education at the university, the rector emphasized that all measures have been taken to conduct the session transparently, objectively, impartially and in accordance with the existing rules. He noted that the examination session of the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year at SSU was organized in accordance with the current regulations of the Ministry of Science and Education, and all conditions were created in the university to complete the session under normal conditions. Objective assessment of students" knowledge is the goal of our university. Thus, the operational headquarters and "Hotline" operate in the university. Students who are dissatisfied with their grades can apply to the appeal commission. In addition, a Public Control and Advisory Council was created under the rectorate of the university in order to inform the public about the implementation of public control over the activities of SSU, as well as the conduct of the examination session in objective and transparent conditions. Of course, all this serves to ensure the complete objectivity of the exams.

The students stated that they were satisfied with the created conditions and the course of the exams, and pointed out that all the questions covered the topics they had studied throughout the semester.
