On November 3, a meeting was held at Sumgayit State University within the framework of the "44-Day epopeea" project  dedicated to the 44-day Victory of the Patriotic war, with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the organization of the Union of Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations and the "Great Return" Youth Organization, in partnership with the Student Youth Organization.

The event began with the sounding of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the memory of our martyrs was commemorated a minute"s silence.

Associate professor Elmar Khalilov vice rector for Social affairs and public relations of SSU greeted the guests and event participants, spoke about the importance of the meeting. Stating that holding such educational meetings about the 44-day Patriotic War is notable , emphasized the importance of introducing the heroic sons of the Motherland, who gained   the greatest victory to our people under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev.This is  an example to the younger generation. Noting that the graduates of Sumgayit State University also showed great bravery in the Patriotic war, the vice-rector said that special attention is paid to holding regular meetings  at the university.

ASYOU training manager Eldar Gurbanov and project manager Ulvi Guluzade said that the purpose of the project is to introduce the heroes of the Patriotic war to our students and to support them .

After the screening of the video containing footage of the historical Victory, veterans of the Patriotic war Elmeddin Novruzov, Elvin Valiyev, Vatan Suleymanov, Hasan Yagubov, who were the guests of the event, spoke about the ways of war  shared their impressions of the 44-day war and  answered the students" questions.
