Work is being conducted in the direction of the establishment and efficient operation of the "Innovation and Creativity Center" at SSU
In the Strategic Development Plan for 2020-2025 approved by the Scientific Council of SSU, activities are being successfully continued in the direction of the implementation of the relevant works provided for the establishment of the "Innovation and Creativity Center" at the university. As a continuation of the work in this direction, a meeting was held between the delegations of Sumgayit State University and the Ministry of National Education of Turkey at the office of Gartal Construction Company on July 25.
First, the director of Gartal Construction Company Sahin Mammadov informed the guests about the company. Later, the representative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, international mentor Hakan Özkaynak expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and gave extensive information about the Technoparks operating in Turkey.
Professor Ramazan Mammadov vice-rector for Science and Innovations of Sumgayit State University made a speech and noted the importance of starting the operation of the creative center at SSU and stated that in connection with this, a group of employees of the university visited Turkey and got acquainted with the centers operating there.
Then,the director of Gartal Construction Company, head of the Sumgayit branch of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan Shahin Mammadov spoke in detail about the projects implemented by his company. He pointed out that Gartal Construction Company always provides financial and moral support to talented young people. No doubt, appropriate conditions are created for them to be employed in the company.
After the speeches, a presentation about the activities of Gartal Construction Company was shown and the meeting was continued in the form of a discussion.
On July 26, a meeting was held with the delegation of SSU and director of "Azerenergy" OJSC "Azerbaijan Scientific-Research and Project-Research Energy Institute" Limited Liability Company ("ASR and PREI" LLC), associate professor Aytek Babayeva, deputy director, associate professor Valeh Nasibov, scientific secretary docent Ulviyya Nasibova, senior specialist Afag Salimova and the director of the Education Center Hikmat Aliyev.
At the meeting, Turkish expert associate professor Hakan Ozkaynak and deputy director of Azerbaijan Scientific-Research and Project-Research Energy Institute associate professor Valeh Nasibov talked about the importance of creating innovation and creativity centers in universities.
As a continuation of the meeting, the delegation of SSU met with responsible persons and experts at SOCAR Carbamide plant. The representative of the plant pointed out that "SOCAR's carbamide" plant is currently the largest project implemented in the country non-oil sector and they support the project of establishing the "Innovation and Creativity Center" at Sumgayit State University,.
We should say that the meetings will be continued in the "Azerikimya" Production Union of STP and SOCAR in the direction of the establisment and efficient operation of the "Creative Innovation Center" at Sumgayit State University.
