The meeting was held with the students  on May 4 at Sumgayit State University by Araz Pashayev, chairman of the Board of the Education Student Loan Fund and Mushfig Mammadli, member of the Health, Science and Education Committees of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the organization of joint awareness-raising activities on student loans and to consider opportunities for closer cooperation with the university.

First,  the rector of SSU professor Elkhan Huseynov, chairman of the Board of the Student Loan Fund Araz Pashayev and mp Mushfig Mammadli laid flowers at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the lobby of the university.

Opening the event, the rector of the university professor Elkhan Huseynov, greeted the guests and participants, spoke about the importance of the meeting,  the state's care for education and projects implemented in this direction. Speaking about a number of state programs for the development of human capital in our country  the rector said that the human factor was at the heart of Azerbaijan's domestic policy and stressed the importance of the Education Student Loan Fund, which served to provide financial support to students from more vulnerable families. He noted that since the beginning of the Education Student Loan Fund at Sumgayit State University, extensive awareness-raising activities have been carried out among students. Today's meeting was a continuation of that awareness-raising work.

Speaking at the event, member of the Parliamentary Committees on Health, Science and Education, MP Mushfig Mammadli spoke about the successful results of youth policy in the country, noting that today the country paid special attention to youth, including students studying in higher education. The new projects and programs currently being implemented also served to help students achieve more successful results in their education and to support them in the educational process.

During the meeting, Araz Pashayev, chairman of the Board of the Education Student Loan Fund gave detailed information about the activities of the Fund, the rules of application to the Fund and the criteria for granting student loans. Araz Pashayev stressed that the main purpose of the Foundation's activities was to provide access to education, create equal opportunities for education, expand the scope of education and improve the quality of education. 

During the meeting, the working mechanism of the electronic system was demonstrated visually, questions related to  the topic were answered and suggestions were heard and recorded.
