Rector of Ufa State Oil Technical University O.A. Baulin visited Sumgayit State University
On April 25-26, during the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian co-chair of the Russian-Azerbaijani University Association, rector of Ufa State Oil Technical University Oleg Alexandrovich Baulin and the rector of Sumgayit State University, the Russian-Azerbaijani University Association Co-chair, professor Elkhan Huseynov discussed the holding of the 3rd Forum of the Association.
During the visit, the rector of Ufa State Oil Technical University O.A.Baulin met with the teaching staff of Sumgayit State University.
The main purpose of the meeting was to further strengthen cooperation within the Russian-Azerbaijani universities, to report on the work done in this direction in 2021 and to jointly discuss the steps planned for 2022.
Opening the event the rector of Sumgayit State University, co-chair of the Russian-Azerbaijani University Association, professor Elkhan Huseynov greeted the guest and said he was pleased to see him at our university.
Then the rector of Ufa State Oil Technical University O.A. Baulin made a presentation on the priorities for 2022, spoke about the possible joint research and publication between two universities, student-teacher mobility, new partnership opportunities within the projects.
Rector Elkhan Huseynov stressed that Ufa State Oil Technical University has extensive experience in innovation in education and admission of foreign students and gave recommendations to the heads of the relevant administrative structures of the university to take advantage of these opportunities.
