A new appointment has been made to the post of vice-rector at SSU
On April 20, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of Sumgayit State University began with the appointment to a senior position. Thus, the rector of the university professor Elkhan Huseynov introduced associate professor Elmar Khalilov as vice-rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations, congratulated him on his new appointment and wished him success in his future endeavors. Then he spoke about the development path of Sumgayit State University, its history, its achievements over the years.
Associate professor Elmar Khalilov also thanked the Minister of Education, Mr. Emin Amrullayev and the rector of SSU professor Elkhan Huseynov for their trust and said that he would justify this confidence.
It should be noted that until this appointment, associate professor Elmar Khalilov headed the Free Trade Union Committee of SSU.
It should be noted that according to the order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Emin Amrullayev K-336 dated 18.04.2022, the position of vice-rector for Humanitarian Affairs of Sumgayit State University was named vice-rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations.
