On April 5, a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Education Student Loan Fund Bahruz Azimov visited Sumgayit State University.

Sabir Behbudov  head of the Education Department of the Personal Training-Methodical Center in charge of Education Student Loan at the University greeted the guests and spoke about the importance of the Education Student Loan Fund. He noted that the establishment of the fund increases students' access to higher education, creates new opportunities, reflects the state's care for youth and education. The purpose of the student loan is to ensure that education is accessible to all, especially those from low-income groups.

Deputy chairman of the Education Student Loan Fund Bahruz Azimov gave detailed information about the student loan, presented a slide and spoke about the advantages of the mechanism. He noted that on June 17, 2021, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On a number of measures to establish and ensure the operation of the Student Student Loan Fund under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan." The Charter of the Education Student Loan Fund established under the decree was approved. The purpose of establishing the fund was to ensure access to education for low-income people, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the scope of education.

Employee of the Education Student Loan Fund Agja Mammadova gave detailed information about the establishment, activities and work done so far.

At the end of the meeting with the participation of the responsible persons of the Education Student Loan on different faculties, the chairman of the Student Youth Organization  Tayfun Hajili and the students-volunteers’ questions  about the fund were answered by the representatives of the foundation. During the discussions, proposals on student loans were said.
