SSU Student Youth Organization was awarded the nomination "Student Youth Organization of the Year"
"I Strategic Planning Forum" of Student Youth Organizations dedicated to the Youth Day on February 2 was held on January 31, with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the Forum, which was attended by 120 students, consisting of formal and informal parts, was to determine the long-term sustainable development strategy of ASYOU and SYO, to support proper development planning. The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and commemoration of our martyrs and continued under the moderation of ASYOU Secretary General Ordukhan Gahramanzade.
A panel meeting on "Goals and expectations from us" was held with the participation of Deputy Executive Director of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gadir Khalilov, MP Shahin Ismayilov and Advisor to the Minister of Education Nijat Mammadli. Then ASYOU chairman Parviz Miralamli congratulated the students.
The official part ended with the awarding of TGTs, TGT chairmen and active members. It should be noted that during the forum, the Student Youth Organization of Sumgayit State University was awarded the nomination "Student Youth Organization of the Year" in the implementation of socially significant events in the country in 2021.
The informal part began with the presentation and discussion of the Strategic Plan document prepared by ASYOU, its evaluation within the working groups, identification of groups, facilitators and roles, and explanation of the activities to be carried out. Then the next panel meeting was held with the participation of leaders of youth organizations. Thus, a working document was prepared within the forum, and the possible changes to the Student Club Quality Strategy and Regulations were discussed. The Strategic Planning Conference ended with the adoption of the submitted documents.
