On September 27, the Faculty of Economics and Management organized an online event entitled "The Road to Victory" dedicated to September 27 - Remembrance Day, organized by the Student Youth Organization.

First, the souls of our martyrs who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of our Motherland were commemorated with a minute of silence.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Associate Professor Aynura Yahyayeva, who spoke about the 44-day heroic war. She noted that the victory march of the victorious army of Azerbaijan, the expulsion of the enemy from all our lands, the complete liberation of Karabakh, especially Shusha, a symbol of dignity and pride of our people, the successful and just settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is also an invaluable contribution to peace and security in the region in which we live. She informed about the 9-paraghraph statement signed by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, acknowledging the defeat of the aggressor Armenia and the unconditional liberation of the occupied territories.

Vasif Sultanov, the brother of Huseyn Sultanov, a graduate of the faculty, spoke about the bravery and heroism of his brother. At the end, war veteran Saleh Nasirov spoke about the path of battle passed by officers and soldiers on the way to victory for 44 days.
