On September 26, Sumgayit State University's Faculty of Philology and Student Youth Organization organized an event entitled "Jennet qokhulu September" dedicated to September 27-Remembrance Day.

The event began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the memory of our martyrs who died for the homeland was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The event was opened by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology Zohra Gafarova, who spoke about our glorious history, the Second Karabakh War. She noted that this period, which is characterized by the writing of the most glorious pages of the history of modern Azerbaijan, is a masterpiece of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief and a brave Azerbaijani soldier. The names of 27 martyrs and brief information about them were announced with the participation of students. Then the floor was given to the families of martyrs. The mothers of martyrs Vugar Amrahov and Jamil Hasanli proudly informed the youth about their children. Then, the uncle of the martyr Vusal Allahverdiyev, Mahir Allahverdiyev, a participant in both the First and Second Karabakh Wars, spoke about martyr Vusal Allahverdiyev and his dreams.

Poems were recited in the spirit of patriotism and a video with Khudayar classification was shown.
