On May 17, the Department of Business Organization and Management of Sumgayit State University organized a webinar in the online format "Towards Business Thinking and Success ..." from the series of online webinars PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT "Teacher-Student Coordination".

The webinar was attended by a group of faculty members and students, International Business Trainer of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Founder of ORKHANWAY Coaching Company, Business Trainer of the International Labor Organization Orkhan Shahbaz and Director of the Career Center of Sumgayit State University Amirkhan Isayev.

The webinar was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Associate Professor Aynura Yahyayeva, who greeted the guest and participants. She noted that SSU is one of the leading universities in the country, based on long-term strategic goals in the training of highly educated professionals, using the most advanced methods and tools in the education of national-minded, loyal to the Azerbaijani ideology. It is gratifying that the graduates of the university are successfully working in the civil service, education and other fields. The dean expressed his deep gratitude to the rector, Professor Elkhan Huseynov, for the conditions created at the university and spoke about the importance of the webinar, the importance of the Azerbaijani youth in the life of our country. He stressed that the combination of knowledge, experience and teamwork is the core philosophy of managers' success stories and achievements. Over time, new requirements arise for the labor market and new images are formed for managers. In this direction, a person must work on himself and be a qualified specialist.

Speaking about the achievements of the graduates of Sumgayit State University, the head of the Career Center, Associate Professor Amirkhan Isayev noted that over the past ten years, more than 130 students have been employed in various senior positions at Azerkimya PU, about 30 of them at the Faculty of Economics and Management.

Galib Huseynov, Head of the Department of Business Organization and Management, said that the main purpose of the event was to instill in students self-government, self-learning processes, increase their innovative activity and intellectual potential, adapt to the modern business and management environment, reveal creative initiatives.

The head of the project, Sakhavat Mammadova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Business Organization and Management, made a presentation on “Self-governance is a guarantee of a modern business model”. She touched upon the issue of human resources, which is one of the main factors influencing business development, and spoke about the importance of the role of education in business development.

Orkhan Shahbaz, International Business Trainer of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Founder of ORKHANWAY Coaching Company, Business Trainer of the International Labor Organization, started the training on "Business building and formation of business thinking in Azerbaijan". Using his local and foreign experience, the trainer emphasized the invaluable role of speech, self-presentation and expression in the formation of thinking, business thinking, creating an environment for active exchange of ideas with students. He spoke about the importance of education, training, especially personal knowledge and skills to succeed in business.

The training was conducted in the format of mutual discussion with the participants, the questions of the audience were answered.

At the end, the topic of the next webinar of the series of online webinars "Teacher-student coordination" was determined in the survey among students.
