SSU STUDENT YOUTH ORGANIZATION WAS AWARDED BY ASYOU
The Student Youth Organization of Sumgayit State University was once again awarded.
On February 1, Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union (ASYOU) held an event entitled "Iron Fist, Iron Youth" on the occasion of February 2 Youth Day with the financial support of the Youth Foundation.
During the online event, ASYOU chairman Parviz Miralamli spoke in detail about the bravery of our youth in the fight against the enemy on the front and rear, demonstrating unity during the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Intigam Babayev and Executive Director of the Youth Foundation Farid Jafarov congratulated the youth on February 2, Youth Day.
In addition, TGT chairmen were awarded honorary titles and honorary diplomas. At the same time, hundreds of young people were awarded for their participation in the Patriotic War, the events in Tovuz, their participation in the fight against the pandemic and their general activities.
Among them, 28 young people of SSU Student Youth Organization were awarded by ASYOU for their participation and general activities in the fight against the Patriotic War, Tovuz events, pandemic.
It should be noted that special attention is paid to the active representation of SSU students in the university administration, their involvement in multifaceted volunteerism and their active participation in the socio-political life of Sumgayit. It is gratifying that the students of SSU were very active during the 44-day war and its aftermath, as well as in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
