Due to the current situation created by the coronavirus pandemic in our country, a special quarantine regime has been introduced, and during this period, the teaching process continues online. In this regard, by holding various meetings and discussing the work to be done, the Department of International Cooperation and International Students (DICIS) also continues its work online.

An online collaboration meeting was held between the Department of International Cooperation and International Students and the Student Youth Organization (SYO) of Sumgayit State University on April 1. The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of International Cooperation and International Students, Ph.D. Samira Mammadova, an employee of the department Natavan Guliyeva and the chairman of the SYO Tayfun Hajili. The following issues on the agenda were discussed at the meeting: creating a group for foreign students studying in the preparatory course and arranging online meetings with them; discussions on the activities of ERASMUS + EQAC and PETRA projects; teachers who will participate in the MEVLANE exchange program; discussions about students doing internships abroad; SYO - DICIS cooperation; promotion of the work done-dissemination on the site and social networks.

The discussions also included: ERASMUS + EQAC and PETRA projects, holding online meetings and trainings of these projects, raising the activity of SYO staff in trainings, report on the work done by students to improve the language skills of candidates, who will go to Lithuania within the EQAC project, checking their group preparation, postponement of the visits of teachers who will go to internships in Turkish universities through the MEVLANE exchange program for various reasons, and to contact our two students who are interns at the Kazan State Energy University of Russia.

Within the framework of cooperation with SYO-DICIS, there was a wide discussion on ensuring the active participation of foreign students in the cultural events of our university, holding online talks with them, and the participation of foreign students in SYO.

In order to ensure the active participation of our students in a series of entrepreneurship trainings between Khazar University and Middlesex University of the United Kingdom and to attract SYO members, as well as to organize the holiday period more effectively for our students, trainings on "Writing successful projects" were offered. Other issues were also discussed in the meeting.
