The examination session for the autumn semester of the 2019-2020 academic year has already begun at Sumgayit State University. The meaning and significance of the present day is overwhelming for students who achieve high scores on exams. Of course, these students will contribute to the development of our country as qualified personnel in the future. On January 9, the rector of the University Professor Elkhan Huseynov, vice-rector for Teaching Organization and Training Technologies Natig Talibov, vice-rector for International Relations Gafar Atayev, head of the Evaluation and quality control section docent Khalil Aliyev and deans of the faculties observed the examination process at the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics, Chemistry and Biology.

The rector listened to the students' comments and questions regarding the examination process and noted that, the university has its Operative Headquarters and Hotline. Students who are dissatisfied with their grades may apply to the Appeals Commission.

The parents, who closely followed the exam process, met with the rector of the university Professor Elkhan Huseynov in the foyer. The parents expressed their deep gratitude to Professor Elkhan Huseynov, for all the conditions created to maintain the transparency of the exams and to demonstrate the students' knowledge freely.

Then the parents got acquainted with Museum of Electric Power in the open air and the High Voltage Substation Training polygon in the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics, the activity of Linguistic Center, which is disinterestedly improving knowledge of language of the students, Heydar Aliyev Center, scientific library, gym, football court, volleyball, badminton and table tennis courts, gazebos for board games.
