IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROJECT “OUR NATURE”, STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE TREE-PLANTING CAMPAIGN
On December 4, students of Sumgayit State University took part in the tree-planting campaign in Sumgayit seaside boulevard and seaside park, organized by the Youth Foundation, ASAN service and IDEA public association within the framework of the project “Our Nature” (“Təbiətimiz”). The event was attended by the vice-rector for Humanitarian Affairs of SSU Ramiz Huseynov, teachers and students.
The purpose of the action is to restore ecological balance, protect the environment from debris and waste, and foster a respect for nature.
It should be noted that on the territory of tree planting, work was first carried out to clean the land from debris, and then trees were planted.
