On November 30, SSU hosted III Debate Forum on “Ecological standards in investment projects should be preferred to economic indicators”.

Vice-rector for Humanitarian Affairs docent Ramiz Huseynov commenced the Forum, hailed the attendees and spoke about the care shown to youth by the Azerbaijani government, the significance of orders issued by President Ilham Aliyev related to advancement of youngsters and also about created circumstances at Sumgayit State University for students. He noted that Student Youth Organization holds several events, debate trainings, tournaments and forums for determining gifted and creative students, assisting students in organizing their leisure time effectively, solving social problems. Today’s debate serves to improve public presentation and oratory skills of youth. The vice-rector wished the participants success.

It is worth to note that 33 teams competed in Debate Forum. In the end of tours 8 teams qualified to one eighth final.
