120TH ANNIVERSARY OF JAFAR JABBARLI AT SUMGAYIT STATE TECHNICAL COLLEGE
According to Order signed by President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev dated December 17, 2018, 120th anniversary of outstanding representative of Azerbaijani literature, great poet, writer and dramatist Jafar Jabbarli is celebrated in all parts of our Republic. For this purpose, on November 27, the event organized at Sumgayit State Technical College under Sumgayit State University dedicated to 120th anniversary of Jafar Jabbarli.
The event was attended by academic and student staff of the College, chairman of Youth and Sports Head office of Sumgayit city Elgun Humbatov and head of the Youth Sector of the Office Jeyhun Huseynov.
Deputy head of the College on Educational affairs Mehman Ismayilov opened the event and spoke about rich creative activity of well-known writer, his contributions to our literature and culture.
It was demonstrated the video about life and creations of Jafar Jabbarli.
Afterwards “Bahar”, “Ana”, “Olmasin”, “Ey dan ulduzu”, “Olkem” poems of the dramatist were sounded by students, fragments from “Dilanchi”, “Od gelini” were performed. “Kuchalara su sepmishem”, “Azerbaijani songs” were sung.
