From November 17 to 22, within the framework of the ERASMUS + EQAC project, trainings were held at the University of Applied Social Sciences in the city of Vilnius of the Republic of Lithuania on the topic “Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani Universities”.

The main purpose of the training was to apply quality assurance standards to the QPR system, conduct seminars on the Metrix programs, the quality management system and QPR design process, and study European experience. The moderators of the training were instructors from Europe Dr. Inga Juknyte-Petreikiene, Dr. Alvydas Punis. The sessions included discussions, group work and individual assignments. At the same time, the trainings exchanged experience and analyzed the standards used in the European space. On the fourth day of the training, universities presented their work in the field of quality assurance. On the last day of classes, a seminar was held on the topic “Fishbone Chart”.

The training was attended by representatives and specialists of Azerbaijani universities. SSU was represented at the trainings by vice-rector for Teaching Organization and Training Technologies associate professor Natig Talibov, head of the Department of International Cooperation Samira Mammadova and senior lab. assistant at the Department of World Economy and Marketing Nihad Huseynov.

The event was completed by filling out evaluation forms.
