LECTURER OF THE FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS ELECTED CORRESPONDING MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION SCIENCES
Meftun Heydarova, associate professor of the Department of Mathematics and its teaching methods, was elected corresponding member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education Sciences. She was awarded a diploma and certificate of the Academy. The International Academy of Pedagogical Education Sciences is an organization combining scientific, cultural and spiritual potential. For more than 20 years, members of the academy have made a great contribution to the training of highly qualified teaching staff, the creation of new methods and technologies and their implementation.
It should be noted that Meftun Heydarova was a PhD candidate at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS in 2006-2013. In 2013, under the leadership of Professor K.I. Khudaverdiyev she defended her thesis on the topic: “The study of mixed problem for semi-linear fourth-order biparabolic equations”. In 2014, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics.
On September 12, 2014, Meftun Heydarova joined the SSU for the position of senior lecturer of the Department of Teaching methods of mathematics. March 29, 2017, by the decision of the Scientific Council of SSU, the Department of Teaching methods was renamed the Department of Mathematics and its teaching methods. Currently, M. Heydarova is the associate professor. She is the author of 2 textbooks, 16 programs, 38 scientific articles and theses; participated in international and republican conferences.
In 2016, she was awarded the title of “Young scientist of the year” by the head of Executive Power of the city of Sumgayit Zakir Farajov. On September 2, 2019, she received the academic title of associate professor, and on October 5, 2019, she received the Certificate of Honor on Teacher’s Day, signed by the rector Professor Elkhan Huseynov.
