THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING IS EQUIPPED WITH NEW LABORATORIES AND MODERN TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT
New teaching laboratories are created in several faculties on occasion of commencement of 2019/2020 academic year. These laboratories created at the Faculty of Engineering will play a large role in the professional training of students studying in the field of process automation engineering, computer engineering and information technology. Along with students of the Faculty of Engineering, these new laboratories will be able to be used by students of the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics, studying in the specialty of energy engineering and subjects of the basics of electronics and microcircuitry.
Starting from the last academic year, important work has been done under the project, and more than 20 new devices were purchased for the faculty. Laboratory equipment was obtained from the city of Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation. The main base of elements of devices was made in Europe. Control and measuring instruments intended for use in the petrochemical industry and modern equipment for studying the rules for the use of automation are calculated for laboratory work in electrical engineering, microcircuitry, and microprocessors.
In addition, the university is equipped with technical equipment with modern and high technical parameters. This year about 25 new computers were purchased for the Faculty of Engineering. In the 2019-2020 academic year, our students will conduct practical work on the subjects studied in modern laboratories. It should be noted that from September 14 to 16, trainings were held for teachers and laboratory assistants in order to familiarize themselves with technical instructions, which will help the successful implementation of laboratory work.
