On June 22, defense of II course master students’ dissertations, who concluded pedagogical internship successfully, arranged at Sumgayit State University. Rector professor Elkhan Huseynov, vice-rector for Teaching Organization and Training Technologies, associate professor Natig Talibov, vice- rector for Science and Innovations professor Ramazan Mammadov, chief of Doctorate and Master programs office docent Sabir Khalilov, faculty deans, departments heads and supervisors attended this event.

Professor Elkhan Huseynov said, “As the role and impact of science and education rise in modern period, developed countries call special attention to this area. This tendency is also noticeable in our country. According to the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic “On providing scholarship for doctoral candidates, students and pupils of higher, secondary special and initial vocational education institutions, as well as master students of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences”, scholarships to doctoral candidates, students and pupils of higher, secondary special and initial vocational education institutions increased. All these are the samples of President’s care and attention to science, education and youth.”

Afterwards master students presented their dissertations: master student of Philology faculty Gunay Akbarova – “Fuad Korpulu and Kitabi-Dede Korkut”, master student of Chemistry and biology faculty Shabnam Isgandarli – “Emission and analysis of synthetic cresols via chromatographic method”, Zumrud Gasimzade from Mathematics faculty – “Opportunities and ways of graphic descriptions’ use in teaching of school mathematics course”, master student of Physics and electroenergetics faculty Konul Imanova – “Researching solution ways of problems in teaching waves and oscillations”, Gulshan Huseynzade from Economics and management faculty – “Evaluation of accounting and analysis indicators of usage in resources”, master student of History and geography faculty Jeyran Zulfugarova – “Study and evaluation of degree of degradation of mountain and meadow landscape on the base of aerospace materials”.

Commission members expressed their thoughts about dissertations and opined on their actuality.

Rector congratulated master graduates, highly appreciated their preparations, as well as substantiation of their thoughts freely and wished them luck in their future activities.

The students thanked prof.Elkhan Huseynov for his care and attention devoted them during their education and expressed their assurance that, knowledge and practice gained at this university will play an important role in their future lives.
