SAVIOR OF AZERBAIJANI PEOPLE-HEYDAR ALIYEV
On May 7, the event on “Savior of Azerbaijani people-Heydar Aliyev” was held by the organization of Physics and electroenergetics faculty dedicated to 96th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The memory of Heydar Aliyev commemorated with one minute silence.
Commencing the event, dean of the Faculty of Physics and electroenergetics docent Tamella Ahmedova notified that certain epoch of modern Azerbaijani history is related to the name and activity of Heydar Aliyev. At present great leader’s political line is successfully carried on by President Ilham Aliyev in new content, adapted to requirements of globalized world.
Docent of Physics and electroenergetics faculty Rana Dadashova, docent of Department of Azerbaijani and Eastern European nations’ history Elmar Khalilov and students delivered speech and pointed out the works executed by Heydar Aliyev for the sake of prosperity of Azerbaijan. They highlighted that in June, 1993, he protected Azerbaijan, its sovereignty and our nation from the troubles and made the country’s independence eternal.
At the end the poems recited by students, dedicated to national leader and the video demonstrated, devoted to his life and activity.
