On March 28, following meeting of Scientific Board held. University rector Professor Elkhan Huseynov hailed Board members and informed them about issues on agenda. He noted: “27 March “Science day”, instituted by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev, marked at a high level at our University. Stands and exhibitions were organized in all faculties displaying scientific-pedagogical activity of employees. Since “Science day” is of great importance in terms of increasing the interest of students to research works”.

Afterwards the agenda of Scientific Board confirmed.

Chairman of Commission on Education and science Professor Mahammadali Zarbaliyev gave wide information about condition of holding seminars and laboratory lessons in SSU. He highlighted that Commission on Education and science was instituted by the decision of meeting of Scientific Board of SSU dated 23.01.2019 № 05. The commission examines scientific and pedagogical activity of faculties and departments under them, cadre preparation, shortages, organization of education process, suggestions, status of material-technical base, usage of modern teaching means in seminars and laboratory lessons, relations with universities of foreign countries and execution of other issues.

Chairwoman of Student Scientific Society docent Lala Bunyatova reported about works carried out in SSS in 2014-2019.

Then, “Organization rules of teaching process on MBA (Master of Business Administration) program” of Master’s degree was discussed and confirmed.

Scientific secretary Professor Mukhtar Samadov gave information about giving publication right (griffin) to teaching aids. He noted that 5 textbooks and 6 subject programs were sent to Scientific Board for publication right. After discussion teaching aids were permitted to be published.

At the end it was decided to apply to SAC on giving docent scientific title to the employee of Department of Chemistry and its teaching methods Valyaddin Nusrat oglu Ahmadov. Thus, the meeting of Scientific Board concluded.
