On March 28, the round table was held on “Philosophical views of Nasimi” by the organization of Department of Philosophy, sociology and political studies of History and geography faculty related with Science day with participation of teaching and student staff.

Commencing the event with welcome speech, chairwoman of Department of Philosophy, sociology and political studies docent Savvara Rzaguliyeva gave wide information about the program of round table and declaration of 2019 “Year of Nasimi” in our country. The following persons delivered speech in the event: associate of the Department Jala Farhadova- about life of Nasimi, docent Javid Mamiyev – about creativity of Nasimi, docent Tazagul Gasimova- philosophical and political views of Nasimi, PhD in philosophy senior lecturer Osman Hajiyev – about Sufism and Hurufism, senior lecturer Zahid Bunyadov – about the film “Nasimi”, senior laboratory worker of the Department Naila Gasimova – about multicultural ideas in philosophical views of Nasimi.

The students of History and geography faculty Aliyar Rafiyev and Ibrahim Ganiyev recited the poems of Nasimi in the event.

Afterwards, the fragment was displayed from the film “Nasimi”.
