OUR COLLECTIVE TOOK PART AT CITY-WIDE NOVRUZ FESTIVAL IN SUMGAYIT
City-wide Novruz festival held at Sumgayit City Boulevard on occasion of Novruz holiday.
Head of Sumgayit city Executive Power Zakir Farajov, members of parliament, city officials, professor-teacher staff of Sumgayit State University and local residents took part in the event.
Mayor Zakir Farajov congratulated city residents and kindled a bonfire. Dada Gorgud and Bahargiz blessed everyone and wished success, abundance and prosperity. The children with national clothes danced in the square. The composition, which is the symbol of Boulevard’s building presented to guests in the entrance of Seaside Park. The samples of national cuisine, clothes, folklore and handicraft demonstrated in the composition prepared by the collective of Sumgayit State University. And also dances of “Sema” dance group of the University were welcomed by attendees.
Afterwards, the concert organized by the performances of famous singers and artistic figures.
