“PART OF ME”, “KEEP HOT” AND “MILITARY MODULE” PROJECTS OF OUR STUDENTS WERE WINNERS WITHIN “I2B-FROM IDEA TO BUSINESS” PROJECT
The startup tour within “I2B – From idea to business” project held at Heydar Aliyev Center of Sumgayit city.
More than 100 participants took part from Sumgayit State University and Sumgayit State Technical College under SSU in startup tour, which took place on March 6.
The tours within “I2B – From idea to business” project are run with the aim of support for expanding startup activity and realizing innovative ideas of citizens, which are jointly executed by Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, “Regional Development” Public Unity under Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, Development Program of United Nations Organization, “Microsoft” and “Azercell” companies.
10 teams were formed, consisting of participants with ideas and the teams were prepared to the competition by professional mentors.
The teams presented their ideas to jury. After the presentation of team leader, they discussed the project.
The jury determined the winners of I, II and III places on Sumgayit city at the end of second part.
The students of Sumgayit State University awarded I, II and III places with “Part of me”, “Keep hot” and “Military module” projects. The winners awarded by organizers and partners.
It is worth to note that the winners of startup tours on regions and cities of the Republic gain the right to participate at National Final, which will be held in Baku. The winners of I, II and III places in National Final will gain the main awards.
