On December 19, representatives of managerial staff of “Standard Insurance” Company met students according to mutual cooperation agreement signed between Sumgayit State University and the Company.

In the meeting with the delegation, chairman of the Department of Finance and accounting of the Faculty of Economy and Management docent Loghman Abdullayev expressed his satisfaction on seeing the guests at the university, gave wide information about the university and spoke about created circumstances for students to participate at internship programs and achievements gained in this field. He notified that internship is the first step toward students’ future.

Head of Corporative sales department Anar Khalafov and head of Sumgayit representation of the Company Nizami Alamov delivered speech in the meeting and pointed out the advancement in the field of insurance and mentioned that there is a need for new generation insurers in insurance market. They highlighted that the object of the meeting is organization of cooperation with education institutions, professional direction and support to the students specialized in the field of insurance and finance. The students will learn job features of the Company, will implement practical tasks, will gain information on sale technology of insurance products and get advice on risk management. At the same time the participants will have the chance to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

At the end of the meeting, the students’ questions were responded by representatives of managerial staff of the Company.
