EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT FUND AND STP GROUP OF COMPANIES ANNOUNCE
Within the framework of the joint cooperation of the Education Development Fund and the STP Group of Companies, the "Gentle Engineers" women"s development project is being implemented.
The main goal of the project is to provide support to the education of female students with high academic performance, studying in different specialties in technical fields, and their training as professional specialists. Within the framework of the project, 50 girls will have the opportunity to receive a special scholarship of the STP Group of Companies by the end of the academic year. In addition to the scholarship, mentorship, experience and training will be organized for the girls.
Selection of candidates will consist of online application, evaluation and interview stage. Academic performance and motivation letter will be taken into account during selection. The final selection is based on the result shown in the interview stage. During the interview, candidates will be asked questions about their goals, social status, activities, and student life.

Who can apply for the project:
 
        • Must be a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
        • Must receive 4th year bachelor"s or 1st year master"s education in the form of full-time education at scientific institutions and organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
        • Must study in the mentioned specialties.
        • The minimum admission score for the bachelor"s degree of the higher educational institution should be 300, and 60 for the master"s degree.
        • Overall average success rates should be above 80%.
        • Must be active in extracurricular activities (volunteering, social activities, etc.).
        • Must meet one of the following social criteria:
                   - Member of families receiving state social assistance with address;
                   - Persons without parents or raised in an orphanage.
        • A person whose both parents (and that person in the case of a single parent) belong to any of the following categories:
                   - Persons with I, II or III degrees of disability;
                   - Those registered as unemployed;
                   - Those who do not have a job and receive labor pension due to age;
                   - Unemployed and receiving social benefits due to age.
 
During the selection of 1st-year master"s students who meet the above social criteria, the score obtained in the entrance exam is taken as the basis.
 
Note: A person who has benefited from another scholarship program organized by the Foundation cannot apply for this project.
