According to the order №774s by Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic dated November 24, 2018 Azerbaijani citizens who finished their master’s degree or completed their education equal to this can be admitted to PhD program; and those who have PhD or other equal degrees can get admitted to doctor of sciences program.

For admission the following documents are introduced:

1. Application to rector

2. Staff personal – registration sheet

3. Biography

4. 2 photos (3x4)

5. Reference from workplace

6. Extract from work-book

7. List of published scientific works (paper on specialty in PhD program)

8. Duly certified copy of PhD or Candidate of science degrees diploma (for doctor of science program)

9. Duly certified copy of diploma and diploma supplement (of bachelor and master’s degrees); (certificate of recognition of education documents for Azerbaijani citizens studied abroad)

10. Copy of identity card

Documents are received from December 3, 2018 to January 3, 2019.

Admission exams will be held from January 8 to 21, 2019.

Documents are received every day except Saturday, Sunday and non-working days from 9:00 till 17:00 in Doctorate and master programs office of Sumgayit State University.
